Singapore-based solar power firm Sunseap Group has teamed up with Pacific Green Energy Co Ltd to develop more than 100 MWp of solar projects over the next three years in Taiwan.

Through a joint venture (JV) called Pacific Sunseap Energy Ltd, the companies will focus on distributed generation (DG) photovoltaic (PV) projects in the island nation, Sunseap said.

In the Taiwanese market, Sunseap has done the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for a 2-MWp rooftop solar system and completed a 3.3-MWp canal-based solar system in Pingtung.

Recently, the Singaporean company announced it will build a 168-MW solar farm in Vietnam’s Ninh Thuan province and is targeting over 200 MWp of solar additions over the next two years in China. Sunseap will be aided by private equity firm Guohe Capital and renewables firm Starkle Energy in the Chinese projects.
